Life Members – Seymour VRI Bowling Club

Requirement for Awarding Life Membership

Nominations for Life Membership should be lodged with the Board or its nominee.  The Board (by a simple majority vote) may recommend to the annual general meeting that any natural person who has rendered distinguished service to the Club be appointed as a Life Member.

A resolution at the Annual General Meeting to confer life membership on the recommendation of the Board must be a Special Resolution and be approved by a three quarter majority vote of those members present and eligible to vote.

A person must accept or reject the Club’s resolution to confer life membership in writing. Upon written acceptance, the person’s details shall be entered upon the Register, and from the time of entry on the Register the person shall be a Life Member, but remain subject to this Constitution.

A Life Member shall not be relieved of any financial obligation other than the Annual Subscription
